Is the description a clue? No noise, Raliegh Chopper? Do I win a prize?

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

here's a clue.... <img src="htp://biketransplant.tripod.com/pics/zzr1100.jpg" alt="Image">
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Hi Tony, good to see you back

I don't know that much about the ZZR1100, other than a guy I know has one and has had it for years. I don't think he's had anything serious go wrong with his.

150bhp aren't they :?: :D

Glad to hear you still have the XL600 Tony. I'm also pleased to hear you've done your re"sirch" on the net for the ZZR1100

You'll have to give us a run down on what you think of it once you got a few miles covered,

the zzr1100 is a fantatic bike... the c model is not as good build quality as the later d model due to being built in the US....look close at the silancers..the left one can be replaced but the right one is part of the full system and therefore the whole system has to be changed...check the rear suspension linkages if it's been stood for any length of time and grease regularly...the front calipers are prone to corrosion and the discs suffer due to them having sintered pads and they can warp too,the front wheel bearings can suffer too due to the bike being very nose heavy....top end mph should be 170mph without tweaking.

I've kinda thought about a ZZR600 for commuting - relatively cheap, bigger tank and better on fuel...

(not that I'd get shot of 'Stormy, natch)
