I'd been looking at SuperHawks & Firestorms, and found the forum a while back... Curious what all the fuss was about as I've ridden Yams mostly, but never a v-twin (unless you count the Harley in San Fran -
I don't 
)
Anyway, I was in a position to pick up an '03 VTR recently, and figured I should sign up, sign in, and say "Hello!" I'm currently based in the South East and looking fwd to rides north & hopefully to mainland Europe for a MotoGP race, or two...
That's after I've got the CCTs done, of course, as some of the stories of failures & bent valves scared the cr@p out of me!!
The bike is fitted w/ Microns, but otherwise pretty standard (
...at the mo' 
)
Anyway, I'll probably be getting manuals fitted asap, and asking a few of the same questions about the bike - set-up, tuning, etc - but will look to contribute to the forum too, and hope to meet up with a few of you to say hi in person. Cheers.

Welcome. I was in Hastings for May day. Great fun. Next time I'm heading in that direction from here (Portsmouth) is for the Brighton Burn up. Com say hi to a long haired Weirdo on a black storm.

Welcome to the forum. All you will ever need to know can be found here but you will have to shift through the piles of rubbish to find it
Get some photos up and enjoy the bike and anything you can't find on search, just ask.
