Need soldering/audio expert - Parrot SK4000

Can anyone solder really fine wire? I want to splice a headphone socket into my Parrot SK4000 speaker line (http://www.parrot.com/catalog/products/parrot-sk4000/)
The idea is, day-to-day I can use it with the helmet mounted speakers, but when I do my long commute, I can plug in my Motrax Noise Deadening earbuds instead....
Anyone brave enough to cut the headset wire and solder/splice in hheadphone plug and socket?

Its as the wires exit from the main module, to the speakers....
