A quick hi from me - Dave
I met some of you on Sunday, at Brands. I was the one who was nursing his pride, after being taken out in the first race on Saturday
I am a long time Storm fan. I bought my road one new in 98 and it is recently back on the road after nearly 2 years laying on a pallet in my drive

She had done over 100.000 miles, trouble free, when she developed piston slap. Now with a new (second-hand) engine, 97 Blade front end, SP1 brakes and a set of Kent Cams, she's better than new
I have 2 Storm based race bikes, that I race in the Thunderbike UK Championship. I was a Rookie last year (at 50) so am still learning my racecraft, but am doing ok

We have a website where you can see them...
http://www.1771racing.co.uk/
The one we built first has evolved and now runs a 954 Blade front end (re-valved) braced swing-arm and Ohlins shock.
The second one was built for my mate, but I have taken on. It also runs a 954 front end, bur has a complete SP1 rear end grafted on.
Both bikes were put together by Terry Everest

Hi Mac
My results for the weekend went:
Saturday
Race 1 DNF Taken out at Clearways when lapping a fella doing his first ever race
Race 2 13th On my #2 bike. From 34th on the grid, I was well pleased with that!
Sunday
Race 1 14th On my #2 bike. Not a great start, but had a good ding-dong with a couple of others.
Race 2 12th Back on my #1 bike A great race in the first few laps, battling with some others, then got in a gap on my own.
Leaving the crash aside, a good weekend

I'm sure that for some of our members Snet is a local track, someone will arrange a thread for a meet up I bet.
I just noticed your location, not a million miles away from me!
Good luck for Snetterton.
Mac

Mac, I'm well aware of when Dave joined, but I missed welcoming him aboard back then, better late than never
Chris.
