Hi all,

Im thinking of changing the forks on my vtr to some upside down forks, I have some ohlins forks from a tlr....anyone know what modifications would have to be made to make em fit?

Any help would be much appreciated

that sounds much too complicated, what I suggest is that I do you a swap for my Roger D modified stock forks, and save you all the stress of the conversion :D

if I cant convince you to do that, then you might also have a good look through the SuperHawk forum in the USA as someone there may have tried Suzuki conversion

lol thanks for the offer but i think will stick with my forks and struggle on with the mod :thumbup:

Scubadog fitted Suzuki USD forks to his Streetfighter, but not TLR ones, his were GSXR750. Have a look at this link below, it should give you some idea of the work involved. As AMcQ says the Superhawk forum may be worth looking at as well.

From what experience I've gained on this subject, it's easier to stick with the same company I.E. Honda parts for Honda bikes etc, like USD forks from a Fireblade would make the job less of a hassle. But after saying that it's not impossible to do.
