Chris.

it was sort of a kit chris, the top adaptor plate was £99 from ebay, the renthals£23,again from ebay, and the brake hose was99p!!lol!!ebays good sometimes.anyway,i was suffering from numb hands and neck ache etc so i was going to sell the bike, but now i dont have to!!excellent!!

also ,the bike had them expensive genmar risers on it,i took them off and put them for sale...ahem..on ebay...so thatll offset even more of the cost,by the way can you email me mate?i had to re-install the usual shite on my computer and lost everything!!damn!!cheers. :D

Well done

Dead Smart m8. Don't think It'll be too long before I go down that route with the Storm but don't fancy trimming the fairing although if like you it's down to keeping the bike you like maybe. Anyway will give it another season yet.

dumb question, but why would you want to raise the bars when the position is pretty good as it is?

well some of us "older riders"ahem, suffer from numb hands and neck ache with the std set up so i changed mine and so did a few others, some waste money on genmars, theyre shite, expensive tat if you ask me,as it goes i sold the ones off the zzr on ebay for 63quid.so that halved the cost of the bar conversion. :cool2

chris
i didnt get the email mate????? :confused

rich
yes those cans do look great, and they sounded great too,i got them off my friend in scotland who's wife makes nice soup!! but not in a cup,in a bowl!!

lloydie

i got the risers from ebay for £30,drilled the yokes then put on "renthal ultra low"bars,i had to buy two brake hoses but all the other wires and cable fit by just re routing them.

just wanted to add something here, the bars i bought for the zzr were 23quid as stated, however, matching bar ends are £17.50 :eek2
so,i used the original bar ends and the parts of wall bolts to fit them.easy!! and no cost too!!sweet
