The motivation for this was the prvious MAG protest ride on the A303 where i seemed to be the only storm in the whole procession, made me feel like i was flying the flag & felt the original spec bike with a tasteful lowers upgrade represented the bike well, i seemed to be the loudest bike there with the twin art cans booming out the awesome storm soundtrack ?
Thanks to wicky for the stickers, just waiting for the seat panel stickers to arrive & then she is complete.

The before picture !

And how she looks now !
She seems to be turning more heads now she is one colour ?

if its a 19L '02 model, it has no tail decal

it should look like this

if you do a forum search for 'decal' you wil find jpg images of all the decals, which you can copy to a usb stick & take to any printer.
i may have some spare tail decals in the garage (i could only find one then) but they are in plain black
they look good on the bike though :)

Sean, Art cans (the un-baffled type) must be one of, if not the loudest cans I've come across

Your bike is looking good mate

Chris.

In that case it is right, Always wondered if it had been re-painted.
Looks like Honda did a few variations, I have firestorm on the fairing and Honda(wings) on the tank?

Sean....I noticed that you have standard rearsets but seem to have an aftermarket rear brake pedal...Im after one since I snapped mine in an off. What is it? And where did you get it from.

The Art cans are fantastically loud, i came acroos a small group of bikers on the weekend & joined on the back of them for part of my journey, they were all on sv 650/1000 cc bikes, it took them a while but they all realised the suuden rise in decibels was me on the back of their group, i think they quite liked the extra booming from my storm.
I had a 2 into 1 exhaust system fitted for a while & it supplied the bike with a backfire on deceleration which caused a few complaints from my neighbours, i had to change it back because i am too tight to pay for dyno time & work to cure the backfire, it looks better with 2 cans anyway imho ?

The aftermarket brake lever was already in place when i bought the bike, however, the previous owner is called Solorider on this website, he may be able to tell you what it is, hope that helps ? :D

Mine is a 99 model with the 19l tank conversion, i suppose with the seat panel stickers fitted she will be a crossover firestorm ?
