It's a powerbronze unit and they're worse than a standard light.

but if you added a twin hid kit to it then surely it would be the nuts, they are very hard to find tho.........
would i be right in saying that the bikes screen is held in place by number plate plastic screws????

I have plans to fit twin HIDs inside a stock headlamp bowl - got most of the bits, just not the time.

hi mate, are you using new headlights fitted to the inside of the existing unit or just fitting the hid kit to the standard unit?
i look forward to seeing your results...........

cheers wicky...
those nose cones are indeed proving hard to find...i've talked to a local fibreglasser and he thinks he'll be able to comeup with something close if i provide the headlight surround and a couple of lamps to work with...he even suggested an under/over twin light, a triple and a four light configuration in the same space that the original lamp fits....he's going to draw some designs for me to look at this weekend.

hi mate
i'd be interested in seeing the designs, i also want to change the look of the front of my bike, i bought 2 ducati 999 headlights with the intension of fitting them into a race fairing, but i was let down by the company supplying the fairing.
i might be selling the ducati headlights now.......

i'm going to post the drawings to see what comments they get but he did show me a full fairing he'd build for his mates gsx1400 which had twin up/under headlights and 2 built in spots..

if i'd of thort on i'd of got a pic of it but i must say it looked stunning...the spots he's used look small enough to fit in the ducts on the vtr...are the ducts there for a reason because as far as i can see the air that goes throw them goes nowhere except onto your legs
