Hi just got hold of my second VTR, it's a bit rough and slightly damaged. I'm wondering if any members know what parts from other hondas or other types fit straight on without to much engineering. I'm looking to change the front end mainly. I'm also trying to find a front single light that's strong in construction and powerful any ideas?. The rear sub frame and seat unit is another area I want to change. I do have a look that I'm going for in mind .... I want a modern day Cafe Racer look.
I do have an offer of a full front end from a Laverda 750 with brembos but set up could be seriously affected. I'm sure members will show me the light.

Linden, when it comes to different front ends most of them can be made to fit with time and money. For less of both you'll find using a Fireblade front end (USD or right way up forks) will be more straight forward, than say one from a Suzuki, Kawasaki Yamaha or even a Laverda.

You'll have to show us some photo's of your project, it sounds interesting :)

Millie front end always looks good to me.

No idea how much work would need doing, though.
Probably just a stem transplant, and sorting the lockstops.
