I'm sitting in a queue at some lights & through the windows of the car in front I see what appears to be a set of handle bars & forks but on the pavement.

I'm thinking to my self that's a bit strange?

The lights change, car in front moves & there is some old duffer* in a mobility scooter. This thing has full on chromed forks & ape hanger styleee bars, I kid you not. As the traffic was now moving I didn't get time to get a snap unfortunately.

No idea if this is a scoot you can buy or one that has been ''pimped up'' I have no idea, I must say that despite the brief glimpse I got of it it didn't look like a lash up.

* For a second I thought it was Tony Mons! but it was black & not yellow.....the scooter that is not the bloke.

Dateline 18/11/11....Spotted this again today parked up out side a pub & you won't believe the graphics on the side!

Saw a couple out on their his & hers scoots racing along the sea-front at Clacton-on-Sea

The 'Sportrider' is an American import and kinda reminds me of the fat folk on the Ark spaceship in the disney movie Wall-e, who are too overstuffed and lazy to walk.
