new to me

Post by idleboy »

Hello all, just got a 2000 storm from my cousin. bit of a step up from the chinese 125 i've been using the past couple of years (finances dictated these things being 40ish with kids).

A few mods, but not had the time to inspect all yet. will post specs when i figure them out. :wtf:

Oh and finally, what an engine!!!. have had a few big fours and a 600 single before, don't think i will again :D

I thought it was a deliberate play on the exhaust note of the Storm. Bellow & welcome, could catch on. Maybe not.

Thanks for the welcome

I'm still not sure what's standard on a storm (too idle to check :) )

i think the pictures underneath show some unstandard items. Rear lights not standard either. Carbon Fibre rear hugger, carbon Fibre front guard. fairing also has a few scrapes (no money to replace or paint just now), tank has usual zip scratches etc. oh and the indicators are kaput ( well 1 broken lense and 1 blown bulb so newish ones being ordered any excuse for more C Fibre)

I may be in a position to offer you the standard items as a swap for the tacky aftermarket items.

PM me if

you are a complete idiot.

That rear shock looks tarnished and rusty coloured - I'll swap you for a shiny standard one. ;-)
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Nice downgrades you have There.
You'd be better of putting stock parts on .
And sending them to me for scrap value :)

I have heard rumours of severe metal fatique occuring in those footrests. I would suggest you send me a PM with your details and I will send you a padded envelope to send them through to me. I will send you a pair of standard, far stronger, footrests and I will only charge you, say, £100 for my time. Can't say fairer than that......
