Hi, just become a VTR owner, not too sure for how long (it's a long story) dipping my toe into superbike ownership, but we'll see how it goes

Welcome, yes they are super bikes....we love them 
Like tony said, they are a sports bike, but not really a superbike, you will be fine

Superbike or sports bike its more power than I am used too and I thought the engine braking was good on my 54 Goldie...
