50th anniversery engine differences if any?

Post by agentpineapple »

were there any difference to the engine between a normal storm and a 50th anniversery storm? or was it just cosmetic, i know the cbr600 had changes to its engine on the 50th model.

A 50th anniversary had Remus road legal low level exhausts,Proflex rear shock,Harris rearsets,Ohlins steering damper,Harris carbon hugger,Dream Machine paint and some carbon covers from Fybrelyte (tank filler, top yoke) and a special plate on the top yoke to signify what number it was.

This has come from a guy who owned one.

p.s.Rich he spent hours polishing the wheels himself and we know how hard that is!!!!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I can confirm that there was nothing done mechanically to the engine on the 50th Anniversary, just Remus road legal cans......the above bike was mine, and yes polishing the wheels were a nightmare!

You'd have thought after 50 years they would have come up with SOMETHING that needed changing.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
