With all my thingys crossed! 42k miles and still on the original CCTS!!
They're on my list of things to do!!

You can keep on being a poof if you like, but you need to sort the CCT's as a matter of urgency fella. You may be lucky and get away with it for years, or it may implode the next time you start it. Either do the stopper mod or fit manuals from one of the variety of sources. Just make a decision and do it before you end up with a bill the wrong side of £500.
YO HO HO Merry Christmas!!!!

Did 37,000 miles on mine before the CCT let go. Manuals are the way to go without doubt. Don't know why they aren't standard on bikes as they need so little adjustment that it could just be another small service item to check and adjust if necessary.

Mate; just relax a bit and enjoy the thing !!
Yeah, by all means get the CCT`s done, but stop stressing about the bike, it`s a Honda, after all, and they`re about the most reliable bike you can buy !
Put it this way, nobody ever starts a thread with " my bike runs really well, starts every time and has never let me down" do they ? That`s because it`s expected that they SHOULD be reliable, but on occasion people do have problems, and that`s when they DO post up, asking for advice and the like.......
So just enjoy it mate; the `Storm is a great,
reliable motorcycle....................have fun !!
