Jester666, just a dot of white tippex mate. I find the speedo a bit dim at night and the numbers a tadge small. They serve as easily visible markers

I just tape my etrex over the rev counter, there is just enough room to see the red light for the fuel, and you dont need to see the rev counter.
And it keeps it in a good line of view.

I'm gonna need all the navigation aids possible for this charity trip (link below)
Looks like fun, when are you doing the run?
tell us when you are passing through the midlands and we might come out an run a convoy with you.
Like toonarmy, I have also just invested in the ram mount kit that mounts off a 1" ball fitted to the hollow headstock you can then get a waterproof mount and fit any touch screen car satnav in there. They also do a mount for the garmin etrex .
But I also use a map in the tank bag with the main road numbers and key destinations marked in big letters. I hate to become too reliant on satnav, as you are screwed when it glitches.

Yep, John O Groats to Lands End in less than 24 hours using only A and B roads for charity. Agreed it would be nice to join up with other bikes along the way.
