I just keep seem to be meeting them this year. It bloody hurts, especially when there is one in the middle lane of the motorway ( I held back until I plucked up the courage to overtake!).
I've tried going really slowly past them or holding back and then going dead fast past them, both end up with me getting grit in the neck!
What do you guys do when over taking or approaching gritter trucks?

i do believe that there is a standard speed that they must spead at, but some seem to spread harder and faster than other why is that ?dont know but i would think that there is limits that they must keep to for bikers and pushbike ???health and safety act might be worth looking it up.
