Supposed be a good painter, granddad swears he's great

I have a couple of his landscapes in oils, not had them valued but they're an investment, according to the bloke on Antiques Roadshow.

I haven't heard of this person, why not ask him for a reference or two?

its the grandad that's had some work done by him, his car is back in now having something else done as the stupid old git drove into a garage forecourt, not onto yes into it, made a right mess of his left side doors
