Hi all;) just sayin hey,im a truck mechanic by trade,i have a zzr600 and a zx12r currently, and my friend has just given me a vtr track bike, which he took apart and ran out of interest and money to put it back together.
its a 99 bike and looks to be in good nick, the whole thing is there apart from missing a front end, which is impossible to find over here at the moment,so ill start with getting a manual first and see what gos where;) i thinks its got a jet kit and twin devil stubbies,my mate drove it before he took it apart and he said it was an aaaannnniiimmmallllll :D

welcome buddy, you can put an early blade front end on, straight swap i believe, and its better than the storms front end. loads of info on this forum, just ask some questions......

Welcome to the forum TT  It sounds like a good opportunity to fit a front end from a Fireblade, USD forks even 8)

thanks guys :D the thought of an upside down radial front end,has put a large smile on my face haha my friend sold on the front end for this bike, which more than likely was track spec, springs, bushes etc.i will indeed have a look and ask some questions.blade parts are far more available than vtr parts,so why not eh? im hoping to get it right around midsummer, looking forward to a blast in mondello 8)

Whats the craic man, theres a free download of the manual on here in the workshop. Theres a lad outside Mondello who could help you w/ the front end Id say. Monostorm on here or 2strokie on Biker if your on there. Also a breakers in Cork P&T are breaking one @ the moment, might be worth a shot
