New meat

Hi,
just swelled the ranks of VTR owners....
Dropped out of biking when I retired (Couldn't really justify running one!!) but missed the bellow of 'V' (Had a Cagiva Raptor last) - a big 'V' goes droning past the house every so often, driven me mad.
Anyhooo, I've succumbed, bought myself a 1998 VTR 1000, in Red, belly pan & cowl, looks the dogs nadgers (To me, anyway!)
Little riding so far, ride home (90 wet, greasy, slippery miles) & a blast round the block after putting the RIGHT pressures in the tyres......
Aren't they great? Even with baffles in, the scorpions are 'interesting'

Welcome, There's now't like a Red'un. Have a good look around the Forum which will tell you about the two items that will let you down( cct's & rr) if they haven't been done and then they're reliable. Put your location in your profile then any nearby members can help out if required, or just a meet up and chat.

Theres no such thing as an ex-biker, it sometimes just takes a little longer between one ride and the next
Welcome to the forum and the joys of the Storm.

Should have said, Doh!
I'm in Benllech, sunny (Today, anyway) ANGLESEY.
Spent the afternoon checking/adjusting - no horrors to report (Although the rear shock looks a bit past it....) :eek2
