Best bulb

Best bulb for bike went out last night to try my new helmet and the light is a bit shite to be honest so what bulbs are your running on

They do one of them xeon upgrades on evil bay but its not cheap and needs wiring in to fit ,nice and bright :thumbup:

I am using the said Easter Beaver relay kit and a Hella 100/55 bulb. IMO, this bulb is a great set-up as it runs cool (55W) on low beam (around town, at stop lights,... where there is little airflow) and on 100W (awesome lighting) on high beam for the open road (where there is a lot of airflow to cool the lens and prevent it from overheating and getting all cloudy over time).

they blind over users, and fail an MOT

if you want xeon i would do the Projector mod mounted inside the headlight, not just fit a H4 HID kit, very bright yes but the light goes everywhere and people get pissed off and constantly flash you, plus as said come MOT time its a fail

+1, made a big difference on mine..........and if you hold down the "flash / PA" button when in dip, you get both beams on for 155W of light :thumbup:

Can you link to it please mate, might get one of these lighting is poor on some roads i use at night and the standard set up don't cut it for me
