Post by WayneM »

I might need to remove the airbox snorkel to get my new petrol tank on - is this going to cause me mucho problems?

As the airbox is not sealed (i.e. no ram air) it could have minimal effects. However I think the engine will still run lean.

Wayne,

no had one on any of my VTR's, well they were on until the airbox lid got took off then in the bin the snorkel went. I tried it on a dyno too and it made no difference at all. I only took it off as it's a lot less hassle getting the lid on and off. Ain't even got an airbox lid on me yum yum VTR, just has a rind to hold the filter in.

Del.

Don't listen to Luca his is only small, luv ya really luca. :x
