IXIL High up carbon race cans

Post by VTRdH »

After i had BOS carbon cans i wanted high up cans, bought these IXIL's in southern germany last year.

The IXIL cans are very light and sound awfull  My wife, who rides a Diversion 600 is complaining that she can't hear her own bike when we make a tour.
The cans give more torque, no power dip and engine uses less fuel , so ..."mean" for my neighbours but "green" for the world

Mmmm I Likie- is that a home made hanger you have made up to connect onto the rear pegs or did it come with the cans?
Looking to dump the passenger aspext of my bike to fit my Mig can's but cant get anything "quality" to hang them with.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

I have the ti versions of these on mine and love them, loud enough without being offensive, and yeah they are the hangers to go with the cans,

I thought the MIG can's have nice hangers. Ixil hangers are factory made originals.

Drilling holes in sub frame- knowing me I'll slip and stick one in the tank!!!
Might be tempted to give it a go- might just have to check the sales for a spare one before I dig out the drill

I bought them 2nd hand from a german guy living in bayern-south germany. Ixil is a spanish producer, UK contact: http://www.brspecialtuning.co.uk
Have been in contact with Ixil Spain and must say very quick response on question, within 24 hours and in english
Don't know if these cans are still on the market. They are officially racecans, no killers , no marks on them.
Have not found them in Netherlands yet, but can try it if you are interested.
