Hi all, just thought I'd let you know that I finally got my Acumen digi gear indicator working! It went away to Acumen to be tested, nothing wrong, so got it back and re-fitted it. Tried to program again & still no joy! WTF? Did a bit of head scratching & decided to replace the ring terminals I had put on the tach & speedo wires, well what do you know? It worked!!! Must have been a bad crimp, proof that even sparkies get it wrong.
As for the jet kit, I took Tony's advice & bought a Factory pro kit direct from USA, it shoud be with me monday :D

On a side note, I have done some digging around, & found these guys at Metheringham nr Lincoln: http://www.dynocentre.com
They have facilities to dyno Bikes, ATV's, Quads & even Go-karts!! (Should cover most of my toys then.)
Will take a trip to visit them when weather is better, & will post a review on here once I know what they are like & if they are any good. I need the storm setting up & I also have a dynojet kit to fit to my 400cc go-kart!

P.S. I hear alot of talk about CCT replacement on here, my bike's got 9800 miles on the clock, is this something I need to worry abt?

CCT failure is a lottery, it could last 20,000 miles or it could give up on your next ride out.

Mileage doesn't really come into it, some manage high miles and some go at low miles.

I ran the risk for the whole 4 years I've had my storm and got away with it. I modded my own ccts to manuals and will never go back to automatics

If a cct does go on you worst case is a new engine, but usually bent valves and a rebuild
