A friend of mine has just bought a Ducati 848 Streetfighter and it is lovely. :cool2

She didn't go for the factory Termis for it but...

she was told that they come with a certifcate that you have to carry when they are fitted.

Any ideas what that's about? Anti tamper laws?

:confused

Looks like it may be nothing directly related to the exhaust. I just googled and it seems it's some kind of EU  directive. Just search Anti tamper laws.

I think I would be more interested in exhausts

Woh this is serious, it affects all of us. Check this out,
http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/22251 The EU are trying to put a stop to us modding our bikes.

That would surely put a lot of people out of work, if they do it to bikes then it should be the same for cars too, right?

Me too.

I can't see it ever happening though, how would they enforce it. It's as ridiculous as the shape of bananas.
