Rear hugger problem

Rear hugger problem

Rear hugger problem just fitted it but it seems to be touching the tyre or mm off.How close are they suposed to be?.and its a pyramid i belive

What tyre have you fitted ?
I have a 190 55 17 but I have 10mm clearance at the top but only 2mm at the sides .

shouldnt be touching the tyre but maybe very close as mine was,but make sure you have fitted it on the outside of the chaingaurd lugs as i have seen people fit thenm on the inside which pushes towards the tyre
or put some pics up as its fitted

And there's glue left over on tyre so that will be delt with saturday cant be haveing a dirty bike :evil: :D

lugs are the bits of alloy on the swingarm where the chaingaurd part of the hugger is fitted towards the back,but looks of on pics to what i can make out
is it still touching the tyre?

think it's sorted now tyre size is 180 and the right side as more than the left side clear.left side a couple of mm or one of them strands what's on new tyre's will it be ok do you reckon
