I'm just about to take delivery of my first VTR and came across this site via the address tagged on the bottom of the number plate so figured it'd be rude not to join!
I decided to upgrade my '96 Diversion (minter 8000 miles, any offers!?) but wasn't sure what to go for until I realised the VTR must be the best value big bike around. I found a '98 25,000 mile beauty with full history, years ticket and tax for £1500. She also has datatag, immobiliser, stainless braid lines, headlight converted, straight Renthal bars, LED indicators/rear light and a Blue Flame exhaust so sounds like a small nuclear incident!! I think I got a good deal? Can't wait to get aboard, hopefully Sunday will be dry.
My name's Colin, from Twickenham, 49 and I look forward to participating in the forum.
PS mine's silver, clearly the fastest colour........

Welcome along mate, you are clearly quite mad a)because you bought a bike in a colour that isn't a colour, and b) because going by your name you have some very peculiar habits!!
Have a good read through the forum fella.

Welcome aboard Colin.
If the bike has this URL on the plate, it must have belonged to one of the mob at some time.
Okay, crowd, 'fess up, who had a silver one as described?

Welcome Mr Kisser,
Silver or not it still a Storm enjoy it.
I take it from the moniker that you fish ?
Ignore Kev & his colourist comments his is blue & he is just jealous of all the faster ones.
Have a gander over at the 'Sunday Runs' section, your just in time for a little meet up I'm hosting.....
You'll be able to meet Kev in person & kiss him, as he's always carping on about something.
Mac

Is there something about dull individuals sitting by river banks that makes them buy silver Storms?
Murv & Carpkisser I think an in depth study is required. Done it, and the answer is no imagination!!!!

Indeed I do fish hence the daft user name. Bikes & angling, could they be more different!? Both in my blood & I just can't help it. Collecting the new toy tomorrow, I'll get some pics up if I can master the tech.
A good weekend to you all. Be safe.
