Its this one i have in the blue tho, it has 3 or four layers one of which is like a rain mac and one a wind breaker,
Its very warm but you can just take layers out in summer
i do 20 miles on the motorway and that rain has been wombles harsh recently and I'm still not wet under the jacket when i take it off
its preformed better than i expected, got if from goeroge whites when they had a sale for 99 quid a good while back
colours aint mint they offerd in that jacket but was bet fit and only full length one they had

If the jacket and trousers are not connected with a zip, is it the run off of water from the jacket and making the waistline wet. Or maybe the material is not breathable and it's sweat. IMO you can't beat Gortex. I know it's pricey but it really does do as it says on the tin so to speak.

looking at the raptor jacket mate on Google images i would expect it to let water in given the amount of seams and joins it has, if you can still get the XTI Extreme give one a try for 99 quid or there about it's worth a punt to stay toasty and dry

I get this - spada suit, membrane and all that. Heavy rain and after a while my midriff is wet. I reckon it works its way into the zip channel & pools somehow
