Hello all................

............Thought I'd take the plunge after skulking around as a guest for a month or two. First came here whilst looking for new tyres for my Storm. Ended up spending hours reading about the CCTs instead......

So to the important stuff........Mines a 97, bought it in about 2002, fell in love with a Repsol liveried one in my local dealers when they first came out but the 8k+ price tag put me off. That & the fact I'd just bought a brand new GPz500. Years of fun on the Kawa (75mpg!) finally saw a candy apple one in the same local dealers for £4600, went about on wanting one so much the wife said just buy it will you.......so I went in the next day & it had gone  but they had just got another in for £3300 so that was that...
It's basically bog standard, although it came with MiG exhausts on (beautiful sound....) and was shod with Dragon Super Corsas, which seeing as I bought the bike in October, were lethal. After two days of sliding, skidding & just no general feel of control I gave up & put it away & got back on the GPz. I didn't feel brave enough until the next April to get back on it, after a couple of weeks I gave in & got some BT020s on it. Completely different bike. Haven't been back on the GPz since......

It's not in the best of nick at the moment unfortunately, just put a 2nd hand starter motor on, £12.50 from ebay (inc P&P!)...., exhaust is blowing (clamp has come of) & needs new tyres (Diablo Stradas to go on now I've sorted the starter motor). I live out in the wilds of Warwickshire so getting parts & it fixed can be a time consuming problem, but sh1t, 200 yards from front door I have miles of countryside to, ahem, cruise sedately around.......

Oh and as it is important & at the risk of alienating 80% of you, mines yellow

I am from Cov, I just moved out near Brinklow once I had kids, lived in HIllfields so was a no brainer.......And for £1300 less, I'd have bought a blue one. Well maybe.
