Repairing the fairing

Decided to have a go at using the plastech repair system

It hasn't worked on the headlight lug, so I used a soldering iron and a piece of the same plastic

The fairing seems to be working

I have just done the inside, will tackle the outside soon

Now had a go at the outside of the fairing

Here are the results
These are the cracks that need repairing

After a groove has been made with the dremel

Then filled with the powder then the resin/glue or whatever it is

At some stage I will prep them ready for painting

flatty you might wanna get a Photobucket account forum is having to resize all those on the fly which is grinding load up time to a halt

photobucket auto resizes them for web use

No they are not, :lol: check your code (quote) imageshack should be re named imageshite and never be recommended. That page took forever to load and it's slow scrolling through the page once loaded.
