Looks good flatty, I have a black headlight surround that I keep thinking about fitting, but its a bit tatty so a bit of matt black would be just the job.
Do you need a bit more practice?

What no carbon. That looks really good for first attempt.
Tanks are supposed to be really difficult, not even marty has done a tank yet (careful with my spelling there

)

Here's the tank
Just trying a few things
A few bubbles in it, but have worked out what to do
best off with two people, one operating the heat gun
Would be much easier if the tank is on the bike so that it doesn't move around

good luck with it flatters, the biggest problem is the decreasing radius which you get with a petrol tank or crash helmet, your left with bunches of wrap left over
i likw the matt black tho

Would it help to heat the tank?
Obviously not with a naked flame......
Maybe filling with hot water?

I don't know
The wrap itself is very easy to work when its warmed up though
