Anyone else had problems with high RON........my VTR hates it!!!!!......buy the cheap stuff from now on!

Mine runs fine, but not better. Though I do seem to have slightly worse MPG on Super.

I stick a tankful in occasionally as it's a better quality fuel and has good cleaning properties which can't be bad.

These bikes are not designed to be run on Super unleaded, but like Rob I put a bit in now and again as a treat for the cleaning additives.

The super unleaded could have been sitting around longer in the petrol stations tanks, they get a much higher turnover of the normal unleaded.

Weird. Mine runs better on super. Slighly better starting and crisper reving?

Probably all in my mind!

Optimax makes mine run better. That's form experience, not theory, before anyone tells me that it can't possibly happen.

On the other hand, I don't often use it as I'm tight and th difference is marginal and I can beat red and blue torms on paraffin

Yep it makes it easier to shave my facial hair on the fly lol and the camera takes 30 years off me but keep it quiet as the mrs will want one

funnu old thing s these firestorms ?!? very one has a different tail to tell. when i put the good stuff in mine i felt it ran the same but gave better mileage??
