Insurance - MCE gone off the insurer?

Post by seb421 »

Just looking at the bike insurer website and MCE looks to be no longer on there :(

It was always cheaper via the bike insurer than it was direct through MCE's website for the same policy

bugger!

Direct through MCE my insurance has gone up to £450 from £320 that's with an extra years no claims and no convictions too! :wtf: how the wombles do they justify that one??

Bike Sure via the bike insure website on the other hand is £240 and that also includes riding other bikes, riding overseas and legal cover (much the same as MCE offer me) so i might just go with them in Jan

It no longer benefits staying with the same insurer. I think insurance is now like energy providers and one just needs to chop and change for the best deal every year or so.

Best thing you can do mate is give a number of someone you don't like, say the bosses mobile number and use a false name like Fred Luggage if your just looking to get a quote idea

wombles hard to keep a straight face when you here him talking about getting random calls for a Fred Luggage

Used to use MCE for my car and bike. Stopped using them on the bike ages ago but they banged the car up from £450 to £1150 this year :whatever , so I told them to fook off and used Adrian Flux instead (£400)

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
