I had to look that one up :thumbup:

There something strange about that image. When I first saw it I thought that could quite possibly be 3D. The same with some of the footage. 3D is so good in this day and age it's hard to tell sometimes. But back to the image. Why is it not totally round? Is that a hole in the ozone? or is it an optical illusion, the way the light has refracted through the lens or window? And where are the stars? I have never seen any images of Earth before where it's not totally round. :confused

It's all a big con, Cybercarl......everybody knows the Earth is flat....apart from the roads in Eccleston where i live :thumbup:

A bit of cropping from the window or in production. As for stars they won't show as the earth's brightness will effect the exposure needed. Same reason you don't see stars from pics taken from the moon From me mate Brian's > site http://www.skywise711.com/Skeptic/MoonP ... nPics.html
