what to put on leather suit

after washing my 2pc leathers with leather soap i would like to know what after treatment should i use to keep them supple and stop them cracking/fading and maybe alittle waterproof if that possible

back in the day i used saddle soap, its a equestrian product hunt down your nearest equestrian shop it should be in stock

Saddle Soap is good, especially if the leather is a little old and tuff.
I'm using the Nikwax range at the moment. The leather restorer is quite a good product and it gives some weather protection.

Seriously though, I think Macdee and Pete are right but I'm sure there are a lots of modern equivalents these days. Just had quick look on the bay and found some Corbin Saddle cream.

use it on my gloves i have 1ltr of it wear gloves though when applying other wise your hands will stink for ages :thumbup:

wicky i'm not allowed lard anymore..fried eggs don't taste the same anymore :(

i did think about good ol dubbin but as BVG says it's abit greasy

thanks for the info..i'll be shopping for one of the products mention this weekend..

It works well.
Just as an aside I have been cautioned in the past to be aware that some of the products on the market can have an adverse effect on the thread used for stitching leather items.

I've got this stuff too. It's pretty good.
