Looks okay - It has had a respray at sometime as non-standard decals, and missing V2 sticker on tail. Check on the subframe what the original colour code was.

Well spotted! It used to be red, (hpi'd it before i got it) but the previous owner wanted black so had it sprayed in 1999, no signs of accident damaged an is a good job so not too fussed

Since you're sensible and went for the fastest colour, have some advice. Stay away from eBay, the modifications you can do to this bike are tempting and endless
And the price becomes not so nice if you get addicted to it, isnt that right
Playerone ?

Ive just been spending the last hour trawling ebay looking for 'things'
Can see this getting expensive. I think all i need is manual cct's and a smaller front sprocket.. an tinted headlight cover.. and some shortie levers

I think it's just a problem on general bikes of the same era as they have unfinned R/R's and can't cool down quick enough so they burn out
