Mobile Phone or Sat Nav Mount mounts ideas ?

Post by Saintsman27 »

Just a thought everybody but I wondered is there any way or use a mounting device to
firmly hold near the ignition or on the tank .. of a sat nav or a mobile phone
using mapping software which I could view to aid navigation whilst riding my storm on
our fair highways and byways.. I looked on flea bay but was kind of " not impressed " with
what was on offer.. any thoughts/ideas gratefully received .. thanks :)

I basterised a tom tom window sucker mount, drilled a hole through it and fitted it with a longer bolt to the monting point on the right hand top side of the instrument cluster.

It hides some of the rev counter and you can't see the reserve or side stand light , but I always have the trip showing as I don't trust the light.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Try this link for a neat yoke fork stem phone mount, the case is for a Samsung galaxy II, but they also make other cases for the same mount.
