I am interested in replacing the aluminium foot hangers, using steel tubing

Anyone out there able to do this sort of work?

there is a place in harkers shipyard in knottingley,only thing is i can't remember the name m8 but if you go into delta engineering on detla business park across the road and see kenny or tosh they'll tell you where they are.

or you could go to PMP metal products on the tanshelf industrial estate in pontefract....jim's son wayne builds custom midi moto's from scratch so he should be able to make you some up if you take the originals in

both delta and pmp are owned by friends i've known for years and are fantastic fabricators

I think I have been there

Works with his dad, very much of the old school

Last time I was there he had a 1200 harley engine fitted in a 125 frame. Phwooor

Won't make the handling any worse, at least.
Brakes might have a problem stopping it, though.....

I reckon a Storm engine would go into a FS1E frame, no trouble.
Only thing stopping me is the tank size, tbh.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
