Mini indicators

Post by essexbloke »

i'm no expert mechanic by any stretch,

wifey is buying me some nice little mini indicators for xmas, (to replace the HUGE great bifg standard vtr ones),

are they really easy to change?

What happens on the front (there is a whopping great recess) where the origonals go through the fairing???

will this end up looking like dartford tunnell????

anyone offer some advise?????

At the front get the mini cat eye ones reather than the ones on stalks. ( not the really really small ones and not the massive ones but the inbetween size.) They cover the hole very neetly.

I had these ones on the back of my Storm and they worked a treat -

Before you put them on though my advice would be to line the inside of them with tinfoil or the like. It just makes them a bit brighter which is usefull on the back.

I got some of those, since the Migs use the standard indicator holes as supports.
Mine appear to be bright enuf, but may tin foil em to see if it really makes a difference.
As for fitting. I had to lengthen the cable since they were mounted about 6" lower than normal.
