Welcome to the forum, best of luck with the firestorm work. Hope it's not too difficult and nothing breaks in the process. Quite a few of the members here are mechanical minded and will be of use to you (so don't listen to anything I say, I'm not one of them !!!

)
Have you ridden it yet? And feel free to add your location to your profile, if you ever need help and words don't convey the meaning enough to inspire confidence there may be someone local to you to be of use

Good Morning everyone, thank you all for the welcome, I will put some pics on when I figure out how to do it, I'm going to start with the paintwork, I have been quoted £300.00 for a complete respray, with me stripping the panels and taking them to him. My first job is to put handlebar raisers on, I read some posts on here and seems by raising them I will ease the pressure on my wrists. I aslo have a shim for the rear shock to enhance the handling, but I'm thinking that if I raise the rear of the bike wont that put more pressre on my wrists, oh by the way if you havn't realised it yet I have wrist problems lol.

You might save some spondoolies if you also do your own preparation on the panels, removing old decals (make a note of measurements & placement if you want to replace them after), filling & rubbing down - basically all the unskilled labour intensive stuff.
Fit the handlebars and see how it goes riding it for a while to see how it feels. Add the shock spacer test & repeat - it'll be relatively easy to remove the spacer if it doesn't help you out.
