:eek2 :eek2 WTF Name and shame them. That wheel spacer is not right, should be the other side of the bracket in the wheel or is that the axle bolt. Anyway there should be no gap there so something is not right. Check they put the spacers the right way around.

I think I may have a Storm caliper bracket and possibly a spacer. I'll have a look in the morning.

If anyone's got one let me know your price!!

They "misplaced" the brake side spacer Carl. The sprocket side (short fat one with flange) is there. Just or the one ~20mm long same od as the bearing spacer.

I hate getting my tyres done because it's the one thing I can't do myself. The last time I kept getting told off "customers behind that line please" I was pretty much standing over the guys shoulder watching everything.

I would defiantly go back and show the manager what has happened as that could have caused an accident. Technicians need to be doing things properly especially when it comes to brakes. At least the manger or whatever can have word with whoever done the job so they know next time and hopefully it does not happen to someone else. You never know they may even compensate you.

:wtf: that's bad you should tell them that they f'd it up, for a start they should pay for the damage and another the fitter/technician/chimpanzee should know he could have killed you! I'd want to know of it was my mistake

Oh they know alright. lol.

Yeah looks like a smaller spacer you've got there kev - thank you very much for looking. Really appreciate it.

Disc's not really damaged, just a bit worn. Not bad really. Bolt's have been shaved a bit, again not really worried about that. The wheel's had some chunks knocked out of it and the caliper support bracket's a bit thinner then it used to be but again, not really worried. Just pissed off the spacer's gone! Gah!

I'm not at home now - if anyone is can you measure the spacer and i'll see if I can pop round a mate's house and get one turned up. I'll need height, id & od.

Cheers :).
