Hi boys and girls

Well as it says above I've just passed my full test and took some advice from good friends and got myself a firestorm so am new to the forum. It's a 2000 on an X with 30,000 miles and a full service histoy and totally standard. As I'm new to the firestorm world I was wondering what are the things I need to lookout for in the future with the storm.

welcome to the club.........where are you based?

as for things to look out for you need to have a good look in the workshop & knowledge base sections and see what your first changes need to be............there are only 2 real weak points on the bike but best give them attention as soon as possible, the Cam Chain Tensioners have a reputation to fail with no warning and so does the regulator on early bikes.

after that you just need to get used to riding it and enjoy the torque

Make sure you read the knowledge base to find out what mods must be done and how to do them. Enjoy the bike and have fun

these old bikes still have enough power to catch you out, next time i take a ride into essex, i'll let you know, i used to go to finchingfeild years ago, decent roads around there.
