Hi everyone!
Checking in from the states with my 1998 Superhawk! I'm sure I'll know some of you from the superhawk forum, but I figured it was time to join this board as I have seen it referenced a few times.
I've owned the VTR since 2010. It was my second bike and second year of motorcycling in general and so I still consider myself fresh to the sport with all the veterans running around causing ruckus with their gray hair on these things. I kind of unknowingly bought a basket case and after finding a crack in the head tube did a full rebuild and conversion to a naked bike. I had to swap frames so why not clean and fix everything as I rebuilt? I've learned quite a bit from the Superhawk forum and can't see myself ever getting rid of this bike as I've grown quite fond of it.
Here is the day I started taking it all apart

And where it stands as a commuter now:

Too many little things to list, but here are the basics of my build:
1) 996cc V-twin Honda motor
2) Other motorcycle parts
See you all around
