It's not your fault (unless you wrote the code) it's just down to bad javascript and there is not a lot you can do about it. It's just a pain in the back end. It's OK when one has visited the site before because one can then just open in a new browser window in future to get around that quirk. Some sites will do it maliciously to get one stuck on their site, a sort of marketing ploy. One of the webs little annoyances.
