Nope that won't work.

This is the best that can be achieved using bb

Code: Select all

It can be done if the forum's underpinning code is rejigged > https://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/links- ... w-windows/

It probably has no page reload script within it which effects the way ones browser registers history therefore ones browser gets confused as to where it has been or wants to go next. Hope that kind of makes sense.

It's not your fault (unless you wrote the code:wink: ) it's just down to bad javascript and there is not a lot you can do about it. It's just a pain in the back end. It's OK when one has visited the site before because one can then just open in a new browser window in future to get around that quirk. Some sites will do it maliciously to get one stuck on their site, a sort of marketing ploy. One of the webs little annoyances.

Nope, didn't write the code, it's a gallery from my webhost, so I can't muck around with the code... And the reason it does that, is probably becuase the code keeps tabs on how you go around inside the gallery...

I know how to fix it tough, as I'm fairly competent with code... Just can't be bothered to make my own gallery... I do that for paying customers, not myself

The point about the phpBB limits was that it doesn't accept the raw html to include the tag for opening in a separate window/tab...
