A newbie in the Midlands

Post by Rin »

Hi everyone,
I bought my first Firestorm today. I only decided yesterday, so it's all been a bit quick.
You all seem to love these bikes, I hope I can get to a meetup soon and see some of you face-to-face. I shall be asking lots of questions because I don't know much about this bike except I'll have to fill up more than twice as often as I'm used to and to listen for cam chain noise … but I do love a V twin.

Welcome to the forum rin.
My advice is to study the workshop/knowledge base, some very good advice and urgent maintenance to take care of such as CCT's and rectifiers etc.

Very friendly people, hope you enjoy your stay

Thanks everyone,
I'm in Solihull, but work in Oxford 2 days a week.
I've bought the bike from someone who hasn't been able to ride much for a while so it's only done 17K miles and it's a R reg.
I had a look at the mods, I think I need pictures …
