New to the Firestorm, and new to the forum

Post by openroadlegend »

Hello all from a Firestorm Newbie!!

Collected my '98 Firestorm pride and joy from Middlesborough a couple of weeks ago and had the best ride to Selsey on one of the hottest days ever! What a machine - yellow with full fairing and pan and double bubble darkened screen / scorpion un baffled exhausts - amazing fun and what a soundtrack. Had a reasonable mixture of bikes over the years - started at 18 with Honda CB 100N, through to my last one a year or so ago - Suzuki GSX1400. I have had one other V twin, the TDM 850, and that sounded good, but nothing sounds as fantastic as this machine does in full flight. Popped on some bar risers last week, but could do with them being a little higher, and that is the only thing I need to do to make it perfect in my eyes.

I am located near Hungerford, Berkshire - anyone local, any events to come and experience. be good to know.

Best Wishes to all
Phil

Hello!

The Tdm 850 mk2 and 900 are parallel twins but with reverse crank so feel like a v twin?
