I was on the red one cutting through the traffic setting a bad example near the pier

Hmm... I'm sure there's a member here that rides a silver storm and is a massive plane geek!

You should have caught me - I picked up someone from a care home to watch the show but we only got to see until the Mustang then it became to crowded for him so I missed the rest.
Disappointed to miss the Vulcan but still managed to dash back to Colly to watch Panasar bowled at the Park.
Next week when its cooled down a notch/isn't raining let's do that rideout with lumpy

Caught you? With those courier skills!
I was sitting behind Maureen (from driving school), being oh so patient, then from behind I hear this DoofDoofDoofDoof and you roll past!
Needless to say, Maureen was eating my dust at the next set of lights
Yeah, meeting up for a relaxed rumble on the bikes would be ace

You were sitting in the queue like a sitting duck for a strafing run - always keep on the move dodging and weaving then they can't get you...

Just for you

I do like those Cold War era jets, only a buffoon like Clarkson would drag an English Electric Lightning down his driveway! Aha I've got it... a jet inspired paint job on the storm?!
That helicopter crash looks pretty horrific!

Oh and in my defence for sitting idle in traffic... I was trying to figure out what the noise was when I let the clutch out really gently - honest!

Disappointed to miss the Vulcan
I saw a very low flying Vulcan at Dawlish airshow a few years back.

If you ever get the chance Whicky you should get down for the Dawlish airshow. According to one of the Typhoon pilots (I know someone who's in with the right crowd down there ) Dawlish is one of their favourites. Something about the topography down there.

It's a real shame the Vulcan is just hanging on to its airworthy stamp by the skin of it's very long teeth, the engines will be at the end of their working life in 2 years time, then it will be tally ho chaps.
If you want to see it again in the air I'd suggest doing so as soon as you can, unless you want to donate a few million to 'Vulcan to the skies'
