This is how she looks one last time before new custom made seats arrive this week, wheels come back powder coated Gold, Dave resprays forks to match wheels and I am seriously toying with red callipers as they are black... Seats are gonna look the biz when fitted. Next photos will show her with new seat/wheels/forks/callipers done and in her element..Dave has done a grand job. That leaves little bits of jobs for winter but for the most part...Nearly there now. I took the manx decals off and I think the bellypan looks better for it..Dave has a couple of jobs still to finish like the frame but for the most part, hard graft is nearly done..

The small hanger along side is going to be sanded back and resprayed in winter..

Being memory foamed and custom made by Elsemade, same guy AP used, VTR owners get a discount

To look like this but red panels and red piping with Red VTR logo on black non slip.his nibs is having 'Brushed Aluminium' silver panels and silver stitching/logo on the black.Should look smart 8) He makes the guys with that little 'lift' at the front to protect the 'ball crush'

Looking good, Just make sure he doesn't add any extra foam to the rear pillion seat as you still want to be able to put the cowl/hump on. AP had to get him to remove some.

i'd leave the caliper black or swap them with a nice clean set of gold calipers, i'm sure jonesey could help you out. I think there would be to much red on the bike if you did the calipers aswell. just my opinion like...
as for the seat, you'll be hard pushed to find a comfier pirch....
I might get another one done over winter....

Already one step ahead there Carl, I had a Gel seat on my old VTR so learnt my lesson last time! I asked him to make sure the pilly seat was just normal padding, I'm not insured, nor would I like to take anyone on the back :-)

as for the seat, you'll be hard pushed to find a comfier pirch....  My old Gel seat was dynamite, so used to confort lol.. Don't like the standard seat .way too much numb elbow syndrome for me!

I might get another one done over winter....

Exactly, my thoughts exactly, think Carl said if I took a photo, he was going to photoshop it to show them red on the wheels to see if I actually did like it before committing! They might really set them off or they might look rank, but that way, I'll know and may ended up leaving them to be resprayed black.. By time I'm done, there'll be biking weather left and Dave will be glad to get the 'monkey' (  ) off his back and get started on his own   Good idea I say! Thanks guys :-)

Will do. I'm keeping an eye out for the new pics when you get it all back. Will do, seat is on it's way now, the actual 'shade' for the wheels was deemed a 'specialised' colour for powder coating = loads more dosh, so I told the guy I'd be down tomorrow to choose from his swatches! I told him I could get it in Halfrauds no probs but he said that is in a 'wet paint' rather than the way it has to be for powder coating.. Had to be didn't it! I said I wasn't bothered so long as I can get a nice shade and not a gareish yellowy sunshine gold! :eek2 :eek2 :eek2 :eek2 :eek2 So seat is on it's way now   and wheels are gettign sorted. You know my main photos Carl on my tag line? Can't you photoshop the wheels gold and callipers red from that? so I can see how it 'might' look? :D

Gold wheels, gold calipers, black forks gets my vote, but make the bike your own Tracy. Looking forward to seeing the transformation. ( and for what its worth, I thought the Manx stickers looked good on the belly pan, nice and subtle against the white :) )

I could do but it's not the most clearest of pics, the wheels are all in shadow.

Thanks TB, yeah, it's always each to their own isn't it, I took one of the manx decals off and it looked much better, so I took the one off the other side.. As for callipers and forks, the jury's still out on that one as have time this week to decide..Carl,I'll see if I have a clearer photo of the wheels?
