Brake Pad Pins & Pad Pin Covers

Post by Mav617 »

Hi all,

Got my calipers back from Jonesy and what a great job he did refurbing them!!

Will I be able to get new pad pins and the grub screw covers from a dealer or is David Silvers my best bet?

Thanks all,
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Yes DS will have the brake pin. Recommend you hunt around for a stainless steel alternative to the cheese like grub screws. and assemble it all with copper grease.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Stainless grubs off of Ebay, everything else from Wemoto, much cheaper than David Silvers.
