Hi folks
I feel a bit of a cheat registering as I don't have a VTR yet. I am looking though. I am very fond of V twin engine bikes with owning aprilia's for the last three years.
I am looking for a VTR project bike that I can personalise from the off with a nice colour scheme and some nice cans.
Preferably a panel damaged bike that is not recorded.
I tend to find the forum's are the first place to start as you folk are "in the know"
The green one with the flat bar conversion looks awesome. :p
I do like the look at the orange one that was for sale on this forum in the last couple of weeks. The lady in the picture was telling how good these bikes are in one of the bike magazines?
Any way I am selling one of my bikes to make room for the "right" VTR.
I would like to keep all my bikes but the wife would not understand :confused.
I suppose I should use the search function but can I ask, what years bikes had the larger fuel tank?
Thanks in advance.

Greetings and good luck in your search. Recommend you get the best you can. Check the price and availability of new panels before embarking on doer upper.

2001 onwards had the larger tank but beware that early models were often later registered. Use the search function to find out what the easy to spot differences are ;)

Have a shufty through this handy guide for VTR newbies for pointers , and bung your location in your profile.
