Hi there I've got a honda vtr 1000 firestorm 98 she runs very well and when I get 2 miles from home she starts messing around and splutting and coffin and won't rev the carbs have been off and cleaned and done spark plugs and and changed the crank shaft sensor she only dose it when it hot please help many thanks tom

Start with checking that the vacuum hose is on the correct nipple at the diaphragm/fuel tap. It goes to the side behind the fuel hose, not on the bottom.

Also check the vac pipe for leaks and cracks and replace if it is .
Also have you checked to see if it has fuel in it ? :Lol:

Are the rubbers that connect the carbs to the inlet manifolds done up tight? It might be worth trying another set of new spark plugs,

Could be worth checking the coil packs. The older they are can tend to falter as they get hot.
